This office is proud to have been instrumental in orchestrating a height modernization survey in the Casa Grande area. A cooperative effort of this office, National Geodetic Survey (NGS), Cochise County, Gila County, the City of Eloy, MMLA Posamas of Tucson, Cooper Aerial Survey, Geodetic Analysis LLC, and the Arizona Department of Water Recourses conducted a first/second order Height Modernization survey in the Casa Grande valley. The project took 4 years to organize equipment and 31 surveyors from all over Arizona to participate. The results of our efforts is current NAD83 / NAVD88 positions for 17 new bench marks in the immediate Casa Grande area. Many of which are classified "A" stability monuments. The data and final positions were blue booked and published on the NGS data sheets at the end of 2007.
